Philadelphia's The War on Drugs have been on the road for their 2014 album Lost in the Dream
non-stop, and one stop along the way was at PBS's Austin City Limits
concert series. The band performed a single from Lost in the Dream
, "Under the Pressure," and you can watch lead singer and producer Adam Granduciel rip a nasty beer commercial guitar solo that Sun Kil Moon
so highly spoke of when insulting the band at the Ottawa Folk Festival last year. Despite the petty low blow by Mark Kozelek of Sun Kil Moon, The War On Drugs delivered a shining performance of this song, with their tight musicianship and guitar solo that says anything but commercial advertising music. The War on Drugs co-hosted this episode with TV on the Radio, and it aired this weekend on PBS.
