Guys, Taylor Swift
revealed her track list for Reputation
! And all I gotta say is, how is this new album going to shape her reputation?! Ha...ha. Anyway, please don't start spreading rumors based on these speculations, because as intelligent as we are, these are only...speculations. But if we end up being right on any of them, feel free to call us psychics. It won't be the first time. Wow. Let's just dive right in with our predictions!
1. "...Ready for It?"
This track makes sense for an album opener. We're ready for it, Taylor. Bring it on.
2. "End Game" (featuring Ed Sheeran and Future)
Not the first time Ed Sheeran and Taylor have partnered up, but interesting to see what Future will add! Also, is this song about the final stage of chess? (that's one definition of end game).
3. "I Did Something Bad"
I know the whole album is supposed to be about you turning into a "bad girl" now, but I didn't know you were going to be so literal about it. "I Did Something Bad" doesn't even sound that bad anyway, it sounds more like something a little kid who just wet the bed would say.
4. "Don't Blame Me"
This seems like a response to the last track…"I did something bad...but don't blame me!" She confesses she screwed up, but then defends herself and says it wasn't her fault. C'mon Taylor, at least own up to your mistakes.
Taylor's been through a lot, and despite how annoying she can sometimes be, she's only human. And she's delicate at times. So, this could be a really vulnerable ballad where she gets us to feel sorry for her.
6. "Look What You Made Me Do"
We know what you did, Taylor. We know. We didn't make you though.
7. "So It Goes..."
this song go?! Don't leave us hanging!
We've heard this one, and the internet has analyzed it forwards and backwards. No mystery here.
9. "Getaway Car"
Sometimes, you just gotta drive those negative feelings away. In that getaway car. Taylor has had a lot on her plate lately, and certainly deserves a little getaway from it all.
10. "King of My Heart"
Awwww, it sounds like Joe Alwyn is the one!
11. "Dancing With Our Hands Tied"
Why are your hands tied? Why are you dancing and not busy trying to untie yourself? I mean, do you even have your priorities straight, Taylor?
Taylor Swift's style has really transformed from the onset of her career. I mean, think about the dresses in her "Our Song" video versus the dresses in the "Look What You Made Me Do" video. This track could be an in-depth reflection on her dress choices throughout the years. Or a metaphor for how the evolving dress represents an evolving Taylor?
13. "This Is Why We Can't Have Nice Things"
I'll tell you why. Because she'll smash a car and burn a shirt like she does in the "Blank Space" video. If you mess with Taylor, she'll destroy your most prized possessions. And this is why we can't have nice things. (This also kind of sounds like an extended version of "Look What You Made Me Do.")
14. "Call It What You Want"
This song is also out - and perhaps it's the least petty one out of all the singles so far. Once again, it's probably about Joe Alwyn (while she still manages to sneak some vengeance in there).
15. "New Years Day"
I am praying to the higher powers that this is just Taylor reciting all of her New Year's resolutions. New year, new Taylor. Maybe this album is all a joke and she will come back with a surprise album with the real
"New Taylor." Does that make any sense? No? Okay.
