Two days after Election Day, 2012's wunderkind band fun. is still pushing along for social change. In a rare afternoon concert at The Bowery Ballroom, the band put on an acoustic set to get the word out on their Campus Consciousness Tour, a trip to college campuses across the U.S. with the goal of raising awareness for LGBTQ equality. For a group so strongly rooted in anthemic rally cries, it was a surprisingly nice change to see a more subdued fun., and to see hear radio mainstays "Some Nights" and "We Are Young" in a new light.

But honestly, music was an afterthought today. In between their set, fun. sat down with CCT's partners, Reverb and Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream to chat about the band's own group, The Ally Coalition, how they're using their recent success to enact awareness and change, and to sling some Romney disses. In a culture where apathy is often preferred and activism is shunned, it's refreshing to see a band do everything they can to take a stand. And if you weren't into all that, at least you could've grabbed a pint of AmeriCone Dream.

Check out some photos from the show below, as well as the rest of the Campus Consciousness Tour dates.
