The National has released a new track for the much anticipated Hunger Games: Catching Fire. The film's producers claimed the original title "Dying Is Easy" was "too dark," inciting frontman Matt Berninger to change the song's name to "Lean." Artists such as Coldplay, Patti Smith, and Ellie Goulding among others will also be featured. Listen to "Lean" below:
"Lean" is not unlike others from the Ohio-originating band, as it slows things down with an emotional heaviness. And, this isn't the first time The National has been used in a theatrical setting, they've also appeared on soundtracks for Win Win, Grey's Anatomy, Game of Thrones and sports drama Warrior (below).
The Hunger Games: Catching Fire hits theaters November 22nd.
