Whatever is in the water Taylor Swift is drinking, everyone else in the music industry should get a guzzle. The 24-year-old pop phenom has completely crushed her first week in album sales of her latest release 1989.

While sales were estimated to break the 1mm mark, Billboard announced the official number, 1.287 million copies sold, bumping her former record of 1.208mm for Red to second place. This jaw dropping feat (in an industry that hasn't seen any artist this year break the 750,000 sales mark) has Taylor closing out 2014 as music's top selling artist for the year and proving people are still willing to spend money on music...crazy.

Way to go Taylor...you kinda just murdered it.
