English electronic music duo The Chemical Brothers
just released their newest track, the follow up from their 2015 release Born Into Echoes.
"C-H-E-M-I-C-A-L" offers a brawny, stripped down take on a live show. The beginning is filled with tinny percussion, a cheering audience, and tons of energy, making it sound as if you were really in a concert venue. Even with limited lyrics (literally just spelling out their name), the track still possesses the crazy, intense electronic characteristics that the duo is known for.
The duo is set to play to perform in Tel Aviv, Israel, but has recently run into complications with thousands of petitioners including Pink Floyd's bassist, Roger Waters, who urged them to withdraw from their performance in order to show solidarity with the country's ongoing cultural boycott. Whether they'll withdraw or not, we we're not sure. In the meantime, we can still enjoy their new newest track here on Spotify.
