Misterwives - "Never Give Up On Me"

Misterwives just dropped this new song last week and I am so happy that they did, because after wearing out their latest album Connect The Dots, I needed something new!

    Aly & AJ - "I Know"

One decade later and Aly & AJ are back and better than ever. "I Know" is the second single to be released off of their forthcoming album Ten Years, out November 17th.

    Grizzly Bear - "Dory"

I just caught Grizzly Bear's live show at Brooklyn Steel last night and it was mind-blowing. Seriously, Grizzly Bear is the band to see live. They're music is best when listened to in a live setting and in a big space.

    Sabrina Claudio - "Frozen"

Okay so anyone who knows me knows that I am OBSESSED with Sabrina Claudio. Her voice is astonishingly beautiful. She has this effortlessly perfect yet quirky nature about her that is rare to find in the industry now-a-days. Anyway, her song "Frozen" is this sultry R&B track that tells the story of how wonderful it is when time stands still when you are so deep in the moment. It's the perfect winter ballad.

    Sigrid - "Plot Twist"

I freaking love Sigrid. She is pretty young, but somehow still so self aware, which is evident through her music. "Plot Twist" is a pop anthem about keeping it real and not taking any bull shit from anyone along the way. I guarantee that you will feel like a bad bitch while listening to this song.

    J.Views - "Into The Light"

Let J.Views transport you back to the 80's with this upbeat synthy track. Anytime I listen to "Into The Light" I feel like I should be soaring down a highway in a vintage Mustang convertible. I get to see him play at Baby's All Right tonight in Brooklyn, and I cannot wait to dance the night away.

Slowdive - "Sugar for the Pill"

Slowdive's first album in over 20 years picked up right where they left off and then added some more. The godfathers (and mother) of shoegaze still have it.

    Grimes - "Flesh without Blood"

Full disclosure, Grimes is my absolute queen and I'll never tolerate anything negative about her. This track is supreme art-pop and seeing it performed live was among my top show experiences.

    Anohni - "Drone Bomb Me"

It's apparently "cuffing season" as the kids like to call it, so why not a good break-up track to be a contrarian? This track is dramatically poppy and powerful, just make sure you don't water down your drink with your tears too much while listening to it.

    Brasstracks - "Brownstone (feat. BXRBER)"

After a Grammy win for Chance the Rapper's "No Problem," producer-musicians Brasstracks is killing the game again with their recent EP For Those Who Know, Pt. 1. It's hard to believe there's so much brilliance packed into just a few minutes here. From an epic horns section to BXRBER's ridiculous verses, this song is all around genius. 10/10 recommend.

MØ - "Turn My Heart to Stone"

Off of her EP When I Was Young released just last week, this is a gem of a song. It has a really cool moody vibe that feels both energetic and low-key. So good.

    dvsn - "Mood"

This one of my favorites off of their recent sophomore album Morning After. This is smooth falsetto-heavy R&B at its finest.
