Here's a haunted piece of video, courtesy of an audio/visual production company that creates orchestral arrangements for solo artists, and performs alongside them in interesting spaces, for both the camera and, in this case, an audience. Here Laura Gibson teams up with Brooklyn based Mason Jar Music to produce a wonderful performance cut of "Where Have All Your Good Words Gone" (from Gibson's 2010 release Beasts of Seasons). The performance was filmed in a cluttered, treasure trove of a space in The Metropolitan Building in Long Island City. With spooks of theremin, a woozy horn and string section, filling dabs of harp, and Gibson's spooky, jazz tinged vocals, the video is something eerie and antiquatedlike blowing the dust off some incredible find in your grandmother's attic.
