Tove Lo proved that she's a bit of a badass this year. Shes a critically acclaimed, Grammy-nominated and multi-platinum artist with two studio albums under her belt and she keeps getting better. Her most recent album, Lady Wood, is divided into two sections, "Fairy Dust" and "Fire Fade." She explains that the songs in the "Fairy Dust" section are to represent the emotional curves Tove Lo goes through when she's chasing a rush. Tove Lo has released a video for "True Disaster," which is one of the five songs that are featured in a short film for Fairy Dust.

The video starts with the aftermath of a fiery, car crash on the main strip of an empty town. Tove Lo is singing into the camera and channeling some 1980s pop touchstones. I feel like the only thing missing from this video is a torrential downpour to add to the drama. Tove Lo continues to dance and shake away from the crash as she throws in some mini choreographed dances. It's a song about sexual desire, obsession, and pain as she sings, "Come on, zero fucks about it. Come on, I know I'm going to get hurt."

Other songs included in the Fairy Dust short film are "Influence," "Lady Wood," "cool girl," and "Vibes."
