H&M really spent the big bucks to promote themselves this year... And we love it. Now, we can finally get in the holiday spirit the right way, with a nearly 4 minute-long film directed by the legendary Wes Anderson, starring Adrien Brody.
The film follows Ralph, a train conductor (Brody), as he and his passengers experience significant delays (11.5 hours, what?) due to challenging weather conditions overnight. Because of this, they offer a special Christmas brunch with chocolate-flavored beverages and whipped toppings. We see Ralph and his sidekick prepare for the brunch as holiday music plays quietly in the background. Then, all of the passengers, with their ruined plans and nothing better to do, head out to the rear for the brunch (also, are they all wearing H&M clothing? I didn't see anything too outlandish, just a poncho and some nice men's clothes. But this is an ad, so I'm assuming it's all H&M).
The little boy is the last to enter the brunchin' room and is surprised with decorations, confetti, and whipped toppings as John Lennon's "Happy Xmas (War Is Over)" begins to play. Of course, this is all shot in Anderson's quirky signature style, which only adds warmth and charm to the film. Be sure to share this with the ones you love because not only will it warm their hearts, but H&M spent a frickin' fortune on it.
