Disney is a pop star creating machine. Pretty much every fresh young face featured by the entertainment giant is a budding triple threat stuck on a pubescent play date with Mickey Mouse. During their stint on the fluffy Mouse shaped cloud they make "best friends." Think back a few years to when Selena Gomez, Demi Lovato, and Miley Cyrus were all BFFs that would make cute youtube videos and wore matching purity rings. But once their pituitary glands kicks into gear, these stars often out grow their Disney pants as well as their Disney friends.

When asked about her past Disney counterpart, Miley Cyrus, on Boston's The TJ Show, Demi Lovato did not hesitate to throw some shade and officially demote Cyrus from past bestie to 'acquaintance'. She blamed their separation on just growing up into very different people "You know, I don't have anything in common with her anymore, and I wish her all the best," she said. Later elaborating on her Twitter account, Demi said, "I feel like I don't fit into Hollyweird. I'm actually kind of proud/happy about that."

Lovato is all about being honest. Since leaving Disney, Demi has opened up about her depression and stint in rehab, resulting in her own brand of girl power pop. Miley, on the other hand, has made every effort to force feed her bad bitch image down everyone's throats.

If you're still in mourning over the broken ties of Disney's early 2000s batch of besties, don't worry, be happy. Or be creepy and watch this touching (creepy) fan-made ode to the long ago friendships of Miley, Demi, Selena, and special guest appearance Taylor Swift:
