The Dream of the 90s Is Alive in Lorde and Haim's Sheryl Crow Cover

Lorde and Haim; two names and four girls that up until this year, no one, outside hyper-local fanbases, was aware of. Both 17-year-old singer Lorde and sister pop-rock trio Haim released debut records earlier this year, Pure Heroine and Days Are Gone (respectively), and have since captured the expansive attention of the listening public. It wouldn't be a surprise to see them both listed as nominees for a Best New Artist Grammy Award, nor would it be a disappointment. Until our predicted face-off occurs, the four ladies can continue to keep things civil. At VH1's You Oughta Know concert in New York City earlier this week, Lorde and Haim did just that by sharing the stage to perform a cover of Sheryl Crow's "Strong Enough", which interestingly enough, helped her win 1995's Best New Artist.
