Life on the road for a touring band can become fairly monotonous. Your days are spent criss-crossing the country in an over-packed van. Your nights are spent giving all your energy to the fans at shows. Then you pack up your gear, head to a hotel for a few hours of shut-eye, and then it's back on the road again. It can be pretty exhausting. That's why Les Savy Fav
front man Tim Harrington is here, to show us how to thwart traveling boredom. In the latest edition of Marshall Headphones'
"On The Road," we find Harrington in Albuquerque, New Mexico where he discusses cheese fries and meets a taxidermist and rock legend, Pyro Pete.
Pyro Pete, as his name may suggest, is a pyrotechnic who was been in the business of blowing shit up for decades. He has worked extensively with KISS, AC/DC, the Rolling Stones, and Judas Priest. In the interview Pete talks about being embarrassed on stage by Gene Simmons, Katy Perry's dildos, and how you should never light off pyrotechnics while drunk or stoned, but a little LSD is okay. Needless to say, it's an interesting piece to watch and at the end, Harrington is treated to his own fiery rock star moment. Check it out below.
