Indie-pop group PK
began their musical adventure as high school buddies in Templeton, California. With the release of their 2010 full-length debut, Into the Roaring
, it was apparent that pop-punk was surviving. PK's sound is clearly a byproduct of the Warped Tour golden years -- searing riffs with tangible lyrics -- and they are now releasing Archives & Rarities
(out Dec. 11), a collection of unreleased, remixed, acoustic, and live versions of their most iconic tracks. PK has been kind enough to share the exclusive premiere of the EP's Machines Are People Too (MRP2)
remix of "Some Nights."
MRP2 blushes up "Some Nights" with a spacey remix that illuminates frontman Travis Hawley's vocal similarities to The Cure's Robert Smith. Grab the free download and listen to the original below.
