Say what you will about Lil Yachty's place in hip-hop - many people are quick to criticize the new style - but he is blowing up. And he knows how to handle it. As a rapper, that's going crazy, turning up, putting your squad on, all that good stuff. We'd expect nothing less from Yachty's new video for "Minnesota" off his debut mixtape Lil Boat. The video, out today, places Yachty and his squad the Sailing Team suited up in hockey jerseys at an ice rink. Yachty is hot right now and he's giving us another reminder - "You need to stay up out the streets if you can't take the heat." Just look at this guy. Zero fucks given.

The celebratory video sees Lil Yachty riding around the rink in his own. damn. Zamboni. driven by Sailing Team member TheGoodPerry. The whole squad is in for the turn-up, complete with a Yachty ice sculpture and a Stanley Cup copycat. The crew also takes it outside with some snow machines for Quavo (of Migos) and Skippa Da Flippa to deliver guest verses. There's no shortage of dabs, heads bopping, flashy jewelry, and big smiles with Lil Yachty and company. Say what you want about the kid, but he's having a damn good time.
