Every now and then the stars align in such a way that two of our absolutely hair-raising live acts come together on one stage for a performance as one mega-band, like Voltron. Dawes and Mumford and Sons already seemed like a dream-team, but the real life iteration of their collab exceeded expectations. During the East Coast Halloween blizzard, the bands played the World Cafe Live 20th anniversary party with Feist, and decided to play together at Mumford-Dawes and Sons for a rendition of "When My Time Comes." Watch them assemble.
I hope their time never comes and they just keep playing this song over and over.
For more Dawes action, stay tuned. Our session with the band is already tickling us behind the scenes, and we can't wait to share it with you. In the meantime, check out our Mumford concert, still one of the best on the site.
