Los Angeles based sextet RACES have been gaining some recognition, largely in part to a strong week of performances at CMJ this past year. Their brand of indie pop music struck a chord with listeners, making people anticipate their next move. Now, the anticipation is over.

RACES has released their first EP, Big Broom, through Frenchkiss Records and also made it available to stream through their Facebook page for the small price of clicking the thumbs (more commonly known as a "like"). Below is a track from Big Broom, "All For You," featuring a few of the qualities that make RACES so compelling. The band moves subtlety but without wasting any notes. The instrumentation is handled delicately. The fuzzed out riff throttles the track forward while soaring lead guitar riffs and singer Wade Ryff's airy voice keep it light. All with a focused feeling of airiness.

Check out "All For You" below, along with tour dates, and all of the Big Broom EP. Also, be sure to keep your eyes and ears peeled for RACES full length debut, Year Of The Witch, coming out in March.
