Los Campesinos! get tortured into despair in their new video for the title track of their new album, Hello, Sadness. The video features hooded figures putting members of the band through some-not-so-pleasant tasks such as puppeteer-like cleaning, being dragged down stairs, and forced hair removal and spaghetti eating. It may not be the most horrible torture in the world, in fact it seems more like frat-boy hazing, but the band does a good job of showing how it can take it's toll.

The band members never scream out or change their facial expressions. Instead, they look emotionless, as if they have accepted their fate and are mimicking the line of the chorus, "goodbye courage, hello sadness." Despite the video and lyrics' downer nature, the song is upbeat and foot stomping-ly catchy. Check out "Hello Sadness" below.
