Today we say goodbye to our writer Gabby Green, who is moving on to bigger and better things.

A lot has gone down since I began writing for Baeble in June. There were several huge collaborative albums, a political movement, a hurricane that mostly just resulted in drunkenness, and the loss of several important figures in our media. I've taken a look at these past few months and recalled several of these events (in no order of importance).

Some noteworthy events that have gone down during my time at Baeble:

A band was formed by Mick Jagger, Joss Stone, Dave Stewart, A.R. Rahman, and Damien Marley—and it's not even that good.

    Occupy Wall Street.

    Occupy All Streets.

Hurricane Irene happened, but mostly resulted in people buying too many batteries and too much whiskey.

Lou Reed and Metallica made an album and I got a migraine.

Kanye West and Jay-Z created a hit song that sampled the not so hit movie "Blades of Glory."

M83 was featured in a Victoria's Secret commercial.

Aziz Ansari played the chauffeur in the video for "Otis."

    R.I.P. Amy Winehouse.

Ryan Gosling stopped an East Village street fight while wearing a tank top.

Call her what you will—Baby-Z or Babyonce—the most famous fetus in the universe is coming soon.

There is a new musical reality show on television that has nothing to do with American Idol except it features Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson's doppelganger, and some drunk pop-star from the eighties whose always crying.

James Franco made a music video. Duh.

    Rick Ross almost died.

Radiohead had a show and nobody got to go.

    R.E.M. broke up.

    R.I.P. Heavy D.

Indie-musical force Zooey Deschanel and Ben Gibbard got divorced.

Artists such as The Morning Benders and Real Estate contributed to a Strokes tribute album.

    R.I.P. Steve Jobs.

What I wish I could be here for:

A Bob Dylan tribute album that includes Ke$ha and Miley Cyrus. WHA?!

    Babyonce's first album and/or hairstyle.

Thanks for allowing me to write for you guys, and thank you for reading my posts! I'll leave you with my three favorite songs that have been released during my time at Baeble.
