When Kim Kardashian's Paper magazine cover was revealed to world, showing off her bare, well oiled butt, jaws dropped round the world. Immediately fans, haters and fellow celebs took to twitter to throw out their two cents including Lorde, who re-tweeted the cover and wrote "MOM."

Some took it as Lorde throwing shade at Kim's decision to pose nude. While some agree it's inappropriate for Kim to be doing racy photoshoots now that she's a mom and needs to set a proper example, Lorde quickly jumped on her tumblr to explain what she meant by her "MOM" comment.

"i retweeted kims amazing cover and wrote 'MOM, which among the youthz is a compliment; it basically jokingly means 'adopt me/be my second mom/i think of you as a mother figure you are so epic, she wrote. "if anything i think she gets even more beautiful and sexy all the time like a fineass wine, and of course has every right to showcase that maybe reporters dont understand my breed of humour/worship. to summarize kims cover was pure heaven. so so beautiful. im proud to say itll be on my wall."

Hmmm...how long could you look at Kim's ass on your wall everyday? Lolzz
