Great Scott, do we have a good one for you today. Over the weekend, Michael J. Fox held a benefit at the Waldorf-Astoria to raise money for Parkinson's disease, of which he is unfortunately a victim. However, Fox said ailments be damned when he hopped up on stage to recreate a scene from Back To The Future, the movie that made him a household name. With the signature red Gibson slung over his shoulder, Fox led the house band in a great rendition of Chuck Berry's "Johnny B. Goode." Though Fox didn't take the vocals on this cover, he showed that he can still shred just as good as he ever could. So all right, guys. This is a blues riff in B. Watch me for the changes, and try to keep up after the jump, okay?
Easter egg for the super-fans: the day this happened (11/12) marked the 56th anniversary of the faux date for Marty playing the song at The Enchantment Under The Sea dance (which according to the movie, occurred on 11/12/1955).
