One of the most exciting trends of 2015 has been an expansion of the impact and sound of traditional "dream pop"/chillwave acts. Neon Indian released one of the best maximalist pop records of the year with Vega Intl. Night School, and even top 40 pop artists like Carly Rae Jepsen have embraced contemporary synth pop sounds in a wide-reaching context. And San Francisco dream poppper Geographer is the lastest artist to continue that trend this year with his deliciously down-tempo disco cover of Felix Da Housecat's "Ready 2 Wear."

We're premiering the stream of Geographer's spin on this track -- off his upcoming Endless Motion covers EP which you can pre-order from iTunes here -- and it is gorgeous. Geographer takes the disco standard and infuses it with the very essence of dreampop without sacrificing the immediacy and power of the track. Whether you want to get lost in the subtle beats or the icy textures of the track, there's something to keep you jamming on to Geographer and we can't wait til we can get our hands on this EP.
