I met Nick Jonas back in the day when the Jonas Brothers were essentially nobodies, watched him and his brothers, Joe and Kevin, skyrocket to international fame, witnessed their comedown and eventual break up.
While the guys will always be remembered for their bubble-gum pop hits, "S.O.S." "Burnin' Up" and "Paranoid," Nick has been the only brother to remain fully invested in a music career. He's recorded a more mature solo album and adopted a sexy new image to draw a more mature audience to his music.
Nick just dropped his self-titled solo project and told E! News he hopes people will have sex to it. "Every artist's real goal is to have people have sex to your music," he said.
Um ew. I think I just threw up in my mouth a little.
Nothing personal against Nick, but having known him during his formative teens years, I can't put him in an adult state of mind. Regardless of my personal history, Nick threw out a few tracks fans should listen to behind closed doors.
"I think it's up to the audience because everybody has a certain preference," Nick elaborated. "Maybe a song called Push, and this other one called Santa Barbara has nice vibes and a song called Closer that I did with Mike Posner. Those are a few and then they can decide what they want from there."
