Immediately following the feel good dance track, "Uptown Funk" featuring Bruno Mars, Grammy-Award wining producer,Mark Ronson, teams up with Tame Impala frontman, Kevin Parker, for the next single off his forthcoming album, Uptown Funk, entitled "Daffodils".The track seamlessly blends old-school funk with Parker's smooth psychedelic vibes. With swells of synth crashing over a steady 70's inspired baseline, the nouveau-disco groove plays like an acid trip back in time.

Ronson is known for collaborations that highlight an artist's vocal talents while shifting between musical styles and showing off his own legendary production skills. Think "Valerie" featuring Winehouse. While not the same toe tapping instant classic that that the Winehouse collab turned out to be, "Daffodils" demonstrates Ronson's incredible ability to utilize Parker's hazy hues with his retro style to create something totally different. On an interesting note, the majority of the LP's lyrics are written by Pulitzer Prize-winning novelist, Michael Chabon.

Uptown Funk is de for release via RCA Records on January 27th, and check out "Daffodils" here:
