We are pleased to announce Fallulah will perform at our upcoming CMJ showcase! The moniker of whiskey-swilling Danish crooner Maria Apetri, these art-pop songs are set up for stunning. Taking a cue from her origins, her debut The Black Cat Neighborhood is a cornucopia of fun sounds hopping through blues, classic pop, rock n' roll, and jazz. The addictive tunes are arrayed using vigorous beats, mirthful drumming, gypsy folk strings, piano, choir, glockienspiel and acerbic guitars. The result is rootsy, trampling instrumentation including irresistible whistling and hand-claps along her expressive whoops and yelps. Quieter moments show off her smoked-out, velvety voice. Fallulah is an outfit proud of being quirky, bold, and adventuresome. The live show will not disappoint, as every far-gone element Maria interjects in her music transpires as physical effort. Code for: it's danceable as hell.

To prepare for the awesome time you will have at our CMJ showcase, bathe in an album stream of The Black Cat Neighborhood.
