Why does every artist have to drop their album on the same day? For us listeners, it's a challenge to catch up with every new release, especially when it's several different releases from all really exciting artists. So to cut through the noise and make sure you have all of your ducks in a row, we're briefly rounding up the most important albums to listen to this week.

    1. Cults - Offering

Offering is Cult's third studio album and combines catchy pop hits with indie rock licks to create must have jams for this weekend. We sat down with Cults in the studio, which can be seen here.

MUST LISTENS: "I Took Your Picture", "Right Words", "Good Religion"

    2. Kelela - Take Me Apart

Kelela nailed the follow up to her EP Hallucinogen with this one. Take Me Apart is a dream, start to finish, and warrants multiple listens.

    MUST LISTENS: "LMK", "Better", "Bluelight"

    3. TOKiMONSTA - Lune Rouge

TOKiMONSTA has been releasing bangers for years, and her fifth album Lune Rouge doesn't break that tradition. Poppy, eclectic, and very danceable, Lune Rouge should already be on your queue.

MUST LISTENS: "Rouge", "We Love (feat. MNDR)", "Rose's Thorn"

    4. Wolf Parade - Cry Cry Cry

Wolf Parade is back, and after starving us for years, they've delivered the goods in Cry Cry Cry. After so long without them, this album is not to be slept on.

MUST LISTENS: "Valley Boy", "Flies on the Sun", "Who Are Ya"

    5. ROMES - ROMES

ROMES' self-titled album is a true pop and soul doozy. Watch the band play a few stripped back songs from it for Baeble here.

MUST LISTENS: "Tryna Be", "Unstoppable", "Summer Sound"

    6. Blade Runner 2049 Soundtrack

With Hans Zimmer at the helm, you have to know this soundtrack is going to be top tier. Hear it before the movie, during the movie and after the movie, because it's an immersive experience you just can't miss.

MUST LISTENS: "Furnace", "Sea Wall", "Tears in the Rain"
