After being one of the very few good things to happen at last month's MTV Video Music Awards, P!nk has given us another gift: another single off her upcoming album, Beautiful Trauma, and a tour announcement. The single, "Whatever You Want" is a power ballad, made more powerful by P!nk's gritty, full-bodied, instantly recognizable vocals. Though not the typical picture of the pop diva, Pink has consistently delivered hits on her albums every few years, starting with 2000's Can't Take Me Home. What's more, she's stayed consistent with her brand, giving listeners equal measures of attitude and heart with every track she creates. Pink mentioned to Entertainment Weekly that Beautiful Trauma will be about the family side of her life, and not making every track a reflective, slow song was difficult.
P!nk also has a documentary about her life and work, due out on Apple Music at the same time her album drops: October 13. In the preview for the documentary, the pop star discusses the amount of production that goes into making an album, touring, and raising a family. She also gets the age of her youngest kid wrong, which is hilarious.
The Beautiful Trauma Tour starts on March 1 of next year in Phoenix, Arizona. Pink, with occasional opener Bleachers, will tour the states until June 2, when she'll wrap up the tour in Los Angeles.
