I say this as someone who really likes Matt & Kim
but there's totally a formula to the duo's sound: lots of layered percussion, maybe some brass added in post-production, hand-claps, maybe a twinkling keys line, and some random vocal backgrounds. "Let's Go" and "Cameras" are pretty much perfect pop songs so I'm not complaining but if you don't know the intricacies of the band's individual outputs, I can imagine their stuff starting to sound like it all bleeds together. And their latest video, "Hey Now," is one "Matt & Kim"-ass Matt & Kim song.
The video is really fun. Matt and Kim continue their tradition of DIY videos, this time utilizing a gorgeous view from across the London Bridge with Kim dancing (and twerking) while Matt sings. So if you want to see Kim shaking her ass in Harley Quinn pants, this video is for you.
