I was having a pretty good day... Until Yoke Lore
, AKA Adrian Galvin, shared his new video for "Goodpain." Now my heart is broken. My day went from rainbows and unicorns to death and skeletons. Okay, maybe I'm being dramatic (just a little), but still, watch this video and I guarantee you'll cry.
"Goodpain" is the opening track on Galvin's latest EP of the same name, and the song really helps set the tone for the video. The clip shows a couple (Galvin and mysterious girl) throughout different stages of their relationship - when they first meet at an abandoned party and... when they break up (aaaaand start the tears). It also cuts to shots of an old man wearing a VR set who plays Galvin in 50 years, looking back on old memories from the relationship. The whole thing feels surreal - throw in some VR and time bending and suddenly you're under the desk at work crying while holding a bottle of wine like Robin Scherbatsky in that episode of How I Met Your Mother.
Nonetheless, you should embrace the sadness because, let's face it, there are some amazing moments as well. Go through the bittersweet journey with Yoke Lore and listen to the rest of his Goodpain
EP which is out now.
