What's more hip/weird than a country band from England? That same band's music video featuring extensive use of polaroid pictures. And that's exactly what you get with Mt. Desolation's new/first music video. The video is for "Departure," the opening track off the bands forthcoming self-titled debut. Check it out below.

If you haven't heard of Mt Desoltion, let me tell you, they're pretty cool. The band is comprised primarily of front men Tim Rice-Oxley and Jesse Quin of Keane, the band grows exponentially during live shows, bringing in members from bands such as Noah & The Whale, The Killers, The Long Winters, The Staves, and our boys Mumford & Sons. Check the Myspace for more.

Their self titled debut album comes out on 10/18. Until then, check them out on tour if you get a chance. They apparently have a pretty rockin' live show. -brendan mehan
