SONG OF THE DAY: 'Turnstile' by Lionlimb

Lionlimb is a Nashville-based psych-rock band who consist of main songwriter/multi-instrumental Stewart Bronaugh and drummer Joshua Jaeger, who have both played in Angel Olsen's backing band. Earlier this year, they finally brought the project back to life and released their Robin Eaton-produced LP, Shoo. Although the record dipped slightly under the radar, the album is a true diamond in the rough, showcasing influences like Conor Oberst and Tame Impala. The track has an authentic DIY sound, with retro drums and beautifully fuzzy guitars. "Your love is a needle and I stuck it / Your love is a guitar and I sold it," Bronaugh sings right before an intense brass instrument storms in. Lionlimb are back and better than ever.
