Four decades before Best Coast made jangly girl rock seem cool, The Shaggs made it suck. Where the Massachusetts sister trio lacked in good looks, they unfortunately did not make up for it in palatable tunes. In honor of ole Hallow's Eve, we're digging up a classic from their historically horrid studio album, Philosophy of the World (1969), which was conveniently described by The New Yorker as "hauntingly bad."
Listen to "It's Halloween" below and see how far you make it before you scream!
