Although he's still taking an extended break from music, Justin Timberlake has a recurring sketch on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon called History Of Rap, where the two parse through thirty years of hippy-hoppy hits to create a medley of verse, and perform it with the Roots as the backing band. It's the kind of thing three really wasted kids come up with as "an awesome idea that will never happen, let's go get some Taco Bell," except that it HAS happened, twice, and JT popped in on Friday for round three, and it was awesome. The tracklist on this one goes from Run-DMC to Nicki Minaj, and ends with a joyful "Hip Hop Hooray." Best one yet IMO. Check it out below.
