The New Pornographers have been all over the place touting around their latest record Brill Bruisers. Immediately labeled as Canada's indie pop "Super Group" since their 1996 debut, The New Pornographers have consistently avoided becoming old news. So, in honor of Throwback Thursday we dug up some old footage of The New Pornographers.

We filmed the band at Webster Hall back in 2007, shortly after the release of Challengers, but for this concert the band managed to compile all 13 musicians who played on the record. You can get a sense for how rare that is for a high profile crowd like these guys just by listening to them talk about it between songs. The hearty set runs an hour and half, and the band plays through a stellar chunk of their discography, with bouts of banter, and sips of beer.

#TBT to 2007, and our live concert session with The New Pornographers at Webster Hall:

#TBT BONUS: The New Pornographers have been touring with the folk pop The Pains of Being Pure at Heart, so lets make this a double hitter holi-week-day, #TBT to 2009, and our concert session with The Pains of Being Pure at Heart — Live at Music Hall of Williamsburg.
