Remember The Weeknd? Abel Tesfaye's silky smooth voice crooning about less than reputable subjects -- sex, drugs, rock 'n' roll, that sort of stuff -- that took over 2011? Well now that The Weeknd's been picked up by a major label (Universal Republic), he is re-releasing his three mixtapes as a bundle called Trilogy on 11/26. To sweeten the deal a little, Trilogy features three new tracks, which doesn't seem like enough considering we've already heard the other 27 tracks, but whatever. At least there's also a new video! "Rolling Stone," from the second mixtape Thursday, is a minimal black and white video mostly featuring Tesfaye and his masochistic thoughts. I'd say it fits the whole aesthetic quite well.
