Why does every artist have to drop their album on the same day? For us listeners, it's a challenge to catch up with every new release, especially when it's several different releases from all really exciting artists. So to cut through the noise and make sure you have all of your ducks in a row, we're briefly rounding up the most important albums to listen to this week.

    1. Julien Baker - Turn Out The Lights

Singer-songwriter Julien Baker is out with her highly-anticipated sophomore effort via Matador and it was most definitely worth the wait. Turn Out The Lights is an introspective slow-burner that explores mental health and religion.

MUST LISTENS: "Appointments," "Turn Out The Lights"

    2. Ty Dolla $ign - Beach House 3

Via Atlantic Records, Ty Dolla $ign is out with his second full length album, which acts as the follow up to 2015's Free TC.

MUST LISTENS: "Message In A Bottle," "Ex (feat. YG)"

    3. Fever Ray - Plunge

Fever Ray, aka Karin Dreijer Andersson (who is also one half of The Knife), has released the follow up to Fever Ray's 2009 self-titled album. It's pretty creepy, with even more morbid visuals, if you're into that kind of thing.

MUST LISTENS: "To The Moon And Back," "Wanna Sip"
