Alright, alright, everybody just calm down. This ain't no "Anaconda
", but it's definitely got some weird shit going on.
This Sunday, via her Instagram, Nicki Minaj released the cover art for her new single "Only", which features Lil' Wayne, Drake, and Chris Brown (say what!). The animated cover shows Minaj clad in a Young Money, presumably pleather, dominatrix-esque bodysuit, accompanied by Drake and Weezy in outfits both nonsensical and completely unrelated to one another. Lil Wayne is polished, in a three piece suit (a far cry from most other images of the rapper, within which he is usually shirtless), and Drake seems to have cast aside his usual simple black tee and gold chain look for something a little more ornate— a papal robe and hat with YM logo inscription?
The single itself opens with Nicki dropping right into a verse, and shocking the Young Money crew dives right headfirst into grossly sexually explicit: "I never fucked Wayne/I never fucked Drake/All my life man, same shit/If I did I would menage with em/And let them eat my ass like a cupcake." The track pretty much continues in that vein, with Drake and Weezy rapping about their version of the Young Money threesome. Gross is great, and to be expected. What's less great is that Nicki's album, The Pinkprint
, has been pushed back to a December 15th release.
For now we only get "Only." Listen below:
