Is Hayley Kiyoko
most lovable artist you've ever listened to or what? If you're unsure of how to answer that, just take a look at her latest video for "Feelings." It's directed by Kiyoko herself and was filmed in all one take. It's safe to say her talents don't begin and end with singing. And not to forget, all of her other videos, like "Sleepover," "Gravel To Tempo," and the viral internet hit "Girls Like Girls" were also directed by the pop singer.
"Feelings" sees Kiyoko pulling up to some sort of parking lot in a black Jeep with her friends at night, and then setting her eyes on a lady she seems to fancy. The rest of the clip features her dancing around the love interest, pulling some Michael Jackson moves here and there, and innocently-yet-not-so-innocently giggling. There's clearly a connection between the two, and then at the end, she gets back in the party car and drives away. The concept is simple, yet there's something so mesmerizing about Kiyoko smiling and dancing around, having fun. It also helps that the song is incredibly catchy and will have your feet tapping along.
"Feelings" is the follow up to the singer's debut EP Citrine
and is the first off of her debut LP out next year.
