's most notorious hit single had no place in the city of San Francisco for the time being: "No offense, Lorde, but for the duration of the World Series, KFOG Radio
will be a 'Royals-free zone." Kansas City's 99.7 The Point
, on the other hand, has decided to flood the airwaves with almost nonstop Royals pride: they have released a counterattack on KFOGs ban, planning to play "Royals" every hour, on the hour, on the opening night of the World Series.
Whether this aural battle will have any effect on the outcome of the series is yet to be determined, but if this Royals fan spoof of "Royals" has any truth to it then the Giants are in for it:
