Flying Lotus, LA's experimental hip hop artist, released the video for "Never Catch Me." The track features Kendrick Lamar, and comes off FlyLo's forthcoming album You're Dead!. The video (below) was directed by Hiro Murai, whose work you might recognize anywhere from St. Vincent's "Cheerleader," to Earl Sweatshirt's "Chum," to B.o.B's Top 40 charter "Airplanes," to "Do You," off the new Spoon record.

The video for "Never Catch Me" pretty accurately captures the dichotomy in Flying Lotus' track; up beat and motivating in it's technical aspects, but the darkness creeps in thematically. It's contemplative not crushing, simple not shallow. It's a feel good funeral. Watch it below.

FlyLo's You're Dead! is due out October 7th, but the album goes live for an exclusive 24 hour stream in it's entirety tomorrow, October 3rd. The stream will also feature the full-length film "Psychedelic Death Trip," by Xavier Magot. Stream it on FlyLo's website starting 5PM EST tomorrow.
