Charlie Puth Is The New Justin Timberlake in His 'How Long' Video

I'll admit that I wasn't the biggest Charlie Puth fan when the pop singer first rose to fame, however, he's been growing on me. Between the catchiness of his hit "We Don't Talk Anymore" and that time he so charmingly puked in a bucket on James Corden's Spill Your Guts or Fill Your Guts (seriously, I actually found that to be cute), it's hard not to at least like him a little.

Then he released a new video just today, for his song "How Long," and it has officially pushed me over the edge and into full I love Charlie Puth more than life itself mode. That amazing suit, those shiny patent leather shoes, those dance moves, that smile, and his ability to walk on walls! You watch this video and try to tell me you're not ready to put a ring on it.

And the video isn't where the Puth appeal ends. The song is also great. Sure, Justin Timberlake was almost pop's biggest star, but now that he's sort of resigned from that position via acting career, it looks like Charlie is ready to take his place, and boy, will we let him.

The song is so, so catchy, with rhythmic flourishes so danceable, you'll just have to move your body. Just a little. C'mon. Wiggle those feet. And the fact that he's singing about a lady being unfaithful to him?! Well first of all, how on earth could anyone ever be unfaithful to this cute dude, and second of all, the fact that that's what he's singing about (as opposed to getting lots of women and cash money) is super sweet and refreshing.

So, I can safely assume that after reading this, you're on the Charlie train right now. Congrats, I'm happy for you. It's a fun ride. If you like the song (which he wrote himself) be sure to preorder his full sophomore album Voicenotes here.
