We know; we thought Franz Ferdinand was dead too
. But thanks to a little resuscitation from new-wave legends Sparks, the two have joined forces under the alias FFS -- which should really just stand for "freakin' funky s***." Sparks is known for their dance initiating tunes, Ferdinand and co. for their catchy Scottish indie. FFS is their dance-rock synth-structured superbaby.
One of the first singles for the group was "Call Girl," which is a naughty tease of a song. The video, directed by Sasha Rainbow, is just as provocative. Okay, no, I don't mean anyone is getting undressed, but the color and retro feel certainly toys with the eye. FFS says "I gave up blow and adderall for you, so I'd have dough and spend it all on you." Well, FFS, we'd do the same just so we can spend our dough on your music.
