According to a story published by TMZ
this morning, Kesha
and her lawyer have just filed a lawsuit against producer Dr. Luke (real name Lukasz Gottwald) for sexual assault and battery. The singer claims Dr. Luke forced her to consume drugs and alcohol against her will, then using her lack of inhibitions to force himself on her. She is asking the judge to release her from her contract with Gottwald.
Kesha claims the abuse started when she was just 18, almost immediately after signing with Dr. Luke. Her report lists a number of instances of violence over the course of over a decade and even attributes her eating disorder to the producer's emotional abuse. She claims he called her a "fat fucking refrigerator" and told her she was not pretty or talented, merely lucky to have him.
What's more, Kesha cites multiple occasions when Dr. Luke made her consume drugs and alcohol against her will. In one case, she claims he made her snort an unknown substance before boarding a plane. During the trip, he allegedly forced himself on her. On another occasion, she claims that the producer got her drunk, then gave her what he called "sober pills." She says she woke up sore and tired in Dr. Luke's bed later that day, unaware of how she got there.
Dr. Luke has not yet commented on the allegations, which Kesha's lawyer describes as an attempt by the singer to break free of the abusive and manipulating control of her producer.
