David Letterman recently announced that this week would be Foo Fighters Week on The Late Show. The band kicked off their residency last night with a surprise collaboration with Zac Brown Band performing Black Sabbath's "War Pigs." The bands performed a loud and gritty four-guitar rendition of the song, paying tribute to the iconic metal band who recently announced their retirement.

Letterman applauded the song, and sat down to talk with Grohl about his musical career, his daughter, and the band's upcoming HBO series Sonic Highways, which features a number of musical guest appearance, including one by Zac Brown Band.
