SONG OF THE DAY: 'No Woman' by Whitney

    If you're a fan of Mac Demarco, Twin Peaks, or Real Estate, you're going to like Chicago band Whitney and their song "No Woman." The song is off of their debut record, Light Upon The Lake and is filled with minimalistic vocals, classic rock 'n' roll style, 60s-inspired guitar licks, and trumpets. It's simple, which makes it our number one chill-out go-to.

    The video is comforting as well. Warm brown woods fill the background while the blue clothing and the smoke pop out, complimenting the scenery perfectly. Somehow, it makes us feel like we're right at home. Even if our home isn't in the woods... The certain coziness that both the song and video deliver is just downright pleasant.
