We all can agree winter sucks, right? Even if you do like skiing and snowmen and all that, it's fair to say the magic wears off after slipping on ice because the wind chill made your legs go numb for the umpteenth time. Want a reason to escape the cold for a long weekend? Then the Okeechobee Music and Arts Festival might be the answer you need. Along with being smack in the middle of sunny Florida, one of the best places to get a non-spray tan in March, the newly released lineup shows a wide range of artists and bands that'll make just about everyone happy and full of good vibes.

On the rock front, we got Nashville rockers Kings of Leon, who are currently on tour in support of their new album WALLS (read our review here). These guys are no strangers to headlining festivals, so you can definitely expect a damn good show from them. The Lumineers will rep the folk-rock genre in support of their album Cleopatra, and Young the Giant are bound to give an exciting and intense show of stadium anthems and wonderfully loud guitars. You can take a nap by the beach and rock out all in the same day, which sounds like a pretty awesome deal.

No need to worry if rock n roll isn't your speed, because there's plenty of other genres well represented in the festivals headliners alone. Solange continues her way to the top fresh off of the stellar A Seat at the Table, and is definitely primed to be as big of a festival headliner as a certain famous sister of hers. R&B vet and superstar Usher will be joining forces with the Roots, a combination made in heaven that will bring the funk to the party in spades. Anderson .Paak blew everyone away with the soulful and experimental Malibu, and with his band the Free Nationals, he'll certainly be a fresh new act you won't want to miss. Hip-Hop upstarts Rae Sremmurd will also be in attendance, so you can expect at least one mannequin challenge to take place during the four days.

If for whatever reason youre still not convinced, there will also be plenty of DJ sets throughout the weekend, with heavyweights like Bassnectar, Flume, and Porter Robinson gearing up to bring the noise and keep the energy going all night. All of these acts mentioned are just a snippet of the HUGE amount of talent packed in the lineup, so definitely get hyped for Okechobee if you weren't already. It's all happening March 2-5, and you can already buy 4-day and 3-day passes here.
