Franz Ferdinand Releases 'Feel The Love Go' And Take Shots At Theresa May

In preparation of the release of their upcoming full-length Always Ascending, Franz Ferdinand has released a new single called "Feel The Love Go". It is the second single from the new album, following the release of the title track.

If you jumped on the Franz Ferdinand train years ago with the release of their hit track "Take Me Out" but haven't followed them much since, "Feel The Love Go" will sound like an entirely new band. There's still a few elements here and there harkening back to the days old, but the new single, like its predecessor, is a grooving, indie-electronic piece trying to keep up with an ever-changing music landscape.

"Feel The Love Go" is noticeably synth heavy, and as much a dance track as it is an indie rock anthem. There's even a sax solo, which should be mandatory for every song released in 2018. It's a stark contrast to the days of their self-titled release, but there's much more depth to the song.

The band also gave a live performance of their new song "Paper Cages" recently on BBC, and included a scathing attack at British PM Theresa May and her handling of the British healthcare system, which you can watch below.

Always Ascending is out February 9, via Domino Records.
