Things are really rough in the world right now. Every time it seems like maybe we're making some step forward for human rights and combatting police brutality and making headways into dealing with all of the toxic poisons of institutional racism in America, something new happens to remind us how far we still have to go. And in moments like this, a lot of folks could use reminders that even within oppressed/marginalized communities, there is power in revolution. It's what made the Straight Outta Compton film such a radical act of cinema. And in their new music video for "Natalie Portman,' The Seige (intentional spelling) and Cheat Codes bring that radical vision to the post-apocalyptic fantasy.

With a music video whose aesthetic is equal parts Mad Max, Gangs of New York, and Attack the Block. The hip-hop track (with a catchy as all get out R&B hook) is paired with a story of a group of young folks preparing to hit the streets in revolt after the arrest of a civil rights leader in the near future. And if you need something to get you pumped to fight the power, this video should do the trick.
