the week in tv

We've got a bit of a mixed bag in late night TV this week, as the beginning starts off with some exciting options, but slows down on Thursday and Friday. Well, to be fair, Thursday night is not a total loss: Ricky Martin is on Fallon. I've been hoping my time portal to 1999 would start working!

Non-musically, there is something interesting happening this week on Conan, as Jennifer Anniston appears on Tuesday night, Lisa Kudrow on Thursday, and Matt LeBlanc is a guest next Monday (February 7th). Be still my heart; now my head is filled with Friends reunion conspiracy theories. But seriously, what? There is no way those guys all have something to promote at the same time (including Matthew Perry, who is on The Daily Show With Jon Stewart this Wednesday... because THAT makes sense). Anyways. Though our super good friend, Justin Bieber, is making an appearance on Monday night's Letterman, Best Coast end up as the ones to take the slot for that show's musical guest (although I'm sure there will be some ground breaking musical theory discussion between them all in green room).
