One of the five pillars of the internet is "art elitism". Another is "painfully cute". One of the only organizations to seamlessly combine the two, time and again, are back with a new video. Staten Island's now world famous P.S. 22 have just released a gut-wrenchingly adorable cover of Pitchfork's best song of the year "Round and Round", and dare I say this version hits home a little more than Ariel Pink's fuzzed-out original, at least in the "awwwwwwwwww!" department.

    "Round and Round":

The kids have previously covered bands like MGMT, Phoenix and Freelance Whales, making them the hippest elementary school choir Hipster Runoff has ever ironically plugged.

They'll also be featured on this year's Oscar telecast, singing their version of "Somewhere Over The Rainbow". Congrats kids! Check out more of their work from year's past on their official blogspot. [via.]
